ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Schools Edupfuinyima Ishieke is a child of necessity. The Proprietor, observing with deep sorrow, how the government owned schools were carelessly managed, no discipline, children come to school very late without consequences, sometimes no teacher comes to school, some other times the children were sent to work for the teachers in their farm during school hours and so forth. Moved with compassion, as he saw a lot of the incredibly smart and promising young children from the community, whose brains were being wasted for want of good schools and nonchalance on the part of the teachers in the schools within and around the community, he, with the useful help and counsels of some good friends, decided to make a proactive move by establishing what we know today as Our Lady of Perpetual Help schools, comprising of Nursery, Primary and secondary sections. The establishment of the school has become the bold response to the yearnings of the teeming youths of our community and beyond, thereby filling the yawning gap in the Nigeria education system.
