If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!Key Roles and Responsibilities: Build and maintain responsive, accessible web applications using [React / Angular] and modern TypeScript/JavaScript. Implement interfaces that meet government accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508) so services are usable by everyone. Translate designs and complex government/enterprise workflows into clean, intuitive user experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineers, as well as agency and enterprise stakeholders. Write secure, well-tested, maintainable code with privacy and data protection in mind. Optimize applications for performance and reliability at enterprise scale. Contribute to a shared design system and component library used across products. Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Required Skills and CompetenciesStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Hands-on experience with a modern framework ([React / Angular]). Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and how to implement them. Experience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs and working with build tooling (e.g., Vite, Webpack). Awareness of security best practices, especially around handling sensitive data. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Experience and QualificationsFirst degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical skills required for this role 4–5 years of experience building production web applications. Experience delivering software for government, public sector, or regulated enterprise environments. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR) or government IT standards. Experience building or contributing to design systemsTesting experience (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization.
