Without ICT training you will end up a digital illiterate and digital illiteracy is too costly to afford in this generation. Before now, an illiterate was someone who could not read and write. It was so because you needed reading and writing skill to fit into the society, but now, beyond reading and writing skill; you need to know how to effectively and efficiently use digital technology to fit into the current society.

Your ability to locate, consume, create and communicate digital content is digital literacy . In other words, digital illiteracy is when you are unable to use and apply digital technologies in performing task or carrying out your daily activities. Digital literacy is as important as eating daily to survive.

The current society we live is fast integrating ICT technology in all spheres. This makes ICT skill more important skill as day breaks. We cannot overemphasize the need for ICT training to you as a person. It is impossible to return back to that era where everything was done manually, rather, the world is advancing in the use digital technologies. This means that you may not be able to function well in this society if you canât use digital technologies effectively.
